Analysis of the left

The other day I was at a park with my daughter.  As I watched these kids playing in the sand box it all came back to me.  There were kids being creative and amusing themselves and "other kids" would try to interfere and take what some other kid had or was doing due to a lack of creativity or poor role models at home (you pick).  It reminded me of the kids in grade school who would mind the teacher, study and do well while these "other kids" at the other end of the curve didn't have to work as hard because they had parents that would come to school and complain about the curriculum or the conditions or unrealistic expectations placed on children which would ultimately force the school administration to lower the standards for their kids to be successful.  I started thinking about the origins of the liberal democrats in this country because there were such obvious and immediate similarities.  Remembering my grandfather talking about the formation of labor unions and the civil rights movement I thought those were very worthy and necessary causes that definitely prospered with democratic support.  Today when I meet those Johnson and Kennedy era democrats they are ashamed to admit they were democrats and say they can't recognize their previous party anymore.
I have to wonder what happened. Conceptually a Republic has elected representatives that vote on behalf of their constituents. A Democracy has the people vote on their own behalf.  My understanding is that we live in a Democratic Republic which combines the two concepts.  I think it is worth examining the basic principles.  I started to think about the differences I see in people.  One of the most distinguishing is the people who are gifted with the ability to do nothing more than point out flaws and complain about issues affecting themselves and others whilst the other people, rather than was time wallowing in the mire, take action and effectively employ a plan to improve their situation.  If these innovative, determined self sufficient people get together to increase their chances of success there is no limit to what they can achieve.  Now there are those in the first group that could be a part of this synergy but by their very nature it is easier to point out the unfair advantages that the second group possesses and how they should not reap all the rewards for themselves.  I see this as a distinction between people.  I see this very example take place between the republican and democratic parties in our country.  I feel that in some way by mere definition of "democratic" the democratic party feels it need to speak for the unspoken...only they have never really met them and couldn't tell you what is important to them.  The Republican party sees the value in lessons history has taught and is only concerned with securing a stable future for our children and grandchildren to inherit.  The Democratic party wants to make sure that everyone has equal rights but they take it to a compulsive level where the fringe has more rights than the center.  The Republican party again only wants to secure our traditions and ensure that the average American has the same basic liberties and opportunities in a hundred years that we have today.  I think there was a time when democrats became disoriented and unknowingly turned against their own country tearing it apart from within.  Social Security and Welfare are great examples.  There was a real need for a social program to help people get on their feet and there still is.  The democratic party however relies on the impoverished sectors of our society as its constituent base.  In other words a helping hand became a hand out and ultimately a right every American could expect nay, deserve!  As long as the liberal left keeps promising the hand out the other kids will never accept the hand up.  In doing this liberals created a permanent constituency because the people who have been born into these programs depend on their elected representatives to ensure the survival of the very programs that are keeping them at the poverty level and out of the work force. The liberals depend on that symbiosis to maintain their partial control in our government but the very people who think they are benefiting from this parasitic relationship can't see the folly of their ways.  What would be the strength of America if we could eliminate this dormancy and bring back grit and determination.  I have many times discussed an idea with people of political stature to screen applicants for such programs and give them basic skills assessments to determine what they are capable of doing.  Once you know what their capabilities are you can place them in city, county or state government doing at least basic tasks from mail rooms to filing to administrative assistance and more depending on their abilities and worst case scenario, reduce the amount of unnecessary costs of hiring temporary help during the variations in the governments business cycle.  Best case scenario, these individual become permanent fixtures and re-enter the work force.  This is of course the kind of Republican thinking that is scoffed at by liberals and their constituents ans even considered to be unfair or discriminatory.
Frivolous legal cases in this country are another rampant problem which leans to the left.  How can you get so caught up in fighting for legal precedence to protect civil rights that you ultimately empower criminals and our enemies with more rights than our government in time of war? The liberal left is probably single-handedly responsible for more than half of the frivolous legal circus sideshows that have turned the constitution into a guideline rather than a doctrine. Human nature is not always glamorous and often it is embarrassing.  Like people rubber necking at an accident where people are dying, the spectacle is more interesting than the solution.  The solution takes resolve, guts and bravery.  Those people who stand around after the accident saying what an atrocity it is that it took emergency responders so long to get here the poor victim died...you mean while a crowd stood by without lending so much as a supportive word?  That would be the liberals co conspirator the media.
What should have always been a tool of the people has become a tool owned by liberals to manipulate the people.  There is rarely a time today where you can use the words honesty and integrity in the same sentence with journalism and , never in the same sentence as broadcast news.  Unless the liberals and their media are held responsible for their actions and the subsequent events I fear that our country will suffer a terrible fate and it will be at our own hands allowed by our own people.  I have urged and almost begged conservative voices to pool their resources and level the playing field by purchasing some of the Goliath news agencies like ABC, CBS, a few FM radio stations or even the New York Times etc., so the people could could at least have a couple of points of view to base their opinions and decisions on.  As it stands now the average American gets their opinion from a liberal news anchor or talk show host or musician or actor in fifteen minutes during the morning routine or while watching videos or after dinner between watching Brothers and Sisters and Will and Grace reruns.  There are not nearly enough people that are resilient enough to go out looking for more insight  We need to do what comes naturally to us and take action to better our situation.  Please consider this when you go to the polls and do your part to decide the future of our conuntry..
